Carlos "Paradox" Valentin has been writing poems since 2004. He has been published three times during his time in high school in a poetry contest. Currently he is in his fourth year of college at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has his Associates degree in Advanced Mathematics and is continuing his schooling to gain his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a minor in American Sign Language. His poetry has come to revolve around the beauty of nature, love and the unknown. Each poem has been inspired by someone or something special in his life.

Joshua Emmanuel has been writing poetry since the death of his adoptive mother when he was just 14. He is orginially from South Carolina after 14 years there he moved to New Jersey. His poetry is inspired by his faith in Jesus Christ and the trials he experience throughout his life.
